IMB HISTORY
The Institute was founded by the publisher Fernando Burgo in 1961 who, thanks to fifty years of experience in this sector, had the merit and the ability to make his practical experiences take on a personal didactic imprint, updating his teaching skills in parallel. to the development of the sector, in such a way as to provide more advanced teaching supports and research objectives, constantly verifying the positive inclusion of young graduates in the production system.

His Fashion Institute, with offices throughout Italy and in numerous foreign countries, teaches the fundamentals of stylistic creation and tailoring to thousands of students all over the world, creating work and giving prestige to Milan's leadership.
FASHION EVENTS
At the end of each school year, the official fashion show of the students of the Istituto di Moda Burgo takes place, now an important event for our staff and for those in the sector who are looking for new talents. The Institute also participates and creates events with the most important associations, institutional bodies and fashion houses.
BOOKS IMB
Istituto di Moda Burgo has always tried to provide its students with adequate tools to facilitate learning about the fashion system, such as books, handouts, curves and teams. The path of experiences, accumulated with dozens of different editions, culminated with the creation of two books, which are considered by the experts to be the milestones of teaching: " Il Modellismo" (last edition 2013 ) and “Il Figurino” (last edition 2012). These books are continuously updated to keep up with the ever-changing world of fashion.

Companies, ateliers, stylistic studios in Milan and all over Italy such as Dolce & Gabbana, Krizia, Dolce & Gabbana, Krizia, _cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136cc7-136 bb3b-136bad5cf58d_Gucci, Gianfranco Ferré and many others, preparing and supplying the new active protagonists of fashion; offering stylistic and modeling consultancy for companies in the sector through the design of collections for women's, men's and children's clothing, but also proposing samples, consulting on the search for trends and restyling.
